“Had the most amazing wedding ceremony and reception at Viking Cove! We asked to have our wedding at the edge of the woods, and Kim found the perfect spot to give us the feeling of being deep in the forest, but with plenty of space for our sound system to be set up and for everyone to sit comfortably (including some elderly relatives). We had photo shoots in on the beach, in the woods, and with those gorgeous mountains in the background - it’s impossible to take a bad picture! All the guests had a wonderful time, and the barn was perfect for the reception, plenty of room to dance and set up the decor we wanted. “Our group spent four nights in the Chinook Cabin at Viking Cove this past July. Haines is a spectacular place and Viking Cove is one of the most beautiful locations in Haines. The cabins are nesteled amount huge tower trees, the point is surrounded by the ocean and the facilities are beautiful. The Chinook Cabin is newly furnished, beautiful inside and out, and has a view of the ocean. The cabin was meticulously clean and is a short walk to the beach. Kim the owner was great to us. “Our stay at Viking Cove exceeded our expectations! The host was out on the property when we arrived, and she greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome from the first moment. The accommodations were exceptional...clean, modern, updated, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the views amazing! Viking Cove is a spectacular place...nature all around! I mentioned it was my birthday the next day and that morning we woke up to a bottle of wine on the front porch!! The drive from Haines is beautiful, and quick. I would definitely stay here again, and want to tell all my friends about it. If you need a place to stay during your Haines visit, this is a real winner! Oh, and the booking process was easy.
